Dr. Candace Parrish (Ph.D.) is a God enthusiast, Artist, Christian, Professor, and Pet-mom (two dogs + a guinea pig). She is a practicing artist and champions artistry across multiple industries. Dr. Parrish is the founder of several entrepreneurial ventures, including Textured Eight–a PR Firm, and Odelia, Marie, & Patrice–a burgeoning self-care brand. She also serves as a Professional Faculty member at both the University of South Carolina (Public Relations) and the University of North Carolina Wilmington (Integrated Marketing and Communication). At OAFA, Candace serves as the Co-Founder and Executive Director. Having over 10 years of experience in teaching, research, and curriculum design, she is happy to lead OAFA in inaugural programming.
