OAFA's Guiding Principles
The Oeuvre Academy of Faith and Art (OAFA) is co-founded by the Holy Spirit and therefore our guiding principles are rooted in three key functions of the Holy Spirit:
- Conviction
- Comfort
- Communication
These three elemental functions of the Holy Spirit will guide the education, programs, and events that OAFA plans and implements. For greater context, here are the roots our guiding principles in scripture:
- Conviction | John 16:8 (KJV) - “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment…”
- Comfort | John 14:26 (KJV) - “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
- Communication | John 16:13-14 (KJV) - “(13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (14) He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
Thus, all artistic/creative efforts in education, programs, and events from OAFA will be rooted-in and guided-by these three foundational principles and elements of the Holy Spirit: Conviction, Comfort, and Communication.
